History
Renowned as the "Guitar God of Taiwan," Masa (real name Mr. Zheng-Yan YU) was deeply impressed by the keen musical sensitivity and captivating voices of the children in Hualien and Taitung during his visit to Taitung at the end of 2015. He harbored the desire to nurture these young talents, aiming not only to share his years of learning and experience but also to foster Taitung-specific bands through cross-generational exchange. In 2016, in collaboration with The Alliance Cultural Foundation, he initiated the "Hualien and Taitung Local Musicians Cultivation Program," providing an opportunity for local students and musicians to ignite their creativity through music.
