Camps

Due to the limited availability of educational resources in the Hualien and Taitung regions (Huatung), indigenous children often lack opportunities to nurture their artistic talents. In an effort to unlock the potential of Huatung's youth and equip them for international engagement, the Alliance Cultural Foundation (ACF) has been introducing artists and professional instructors annually since its inception. Through the art camps, English camps, animation design camps, woodcarving camps, choir camps, and more, ACF blends interactive courses, creative activities, and group experiences to offer students a diverse range of learning opportunities while fostering the future talents of Taitung.

Simultaneously, comprehensive volunteer training was provided, aiming to nurture young people passionate about education in Huatung. The goal is to prepare them to become proactive leaders with a local perspective and problem-solving abilities who contribute to educational improvements in rural areas.

Furthermore, ACF has observed that some of its trainees-turned-volunteers have developed a profound sense of belonging and aspiration to serve as role models for the children. Volunteers not only acquire experiential knowledge during their service but also cultivate a broader outlook on themselves, society, and the world.
