Dear Believers of the Future,

In a Taiwanese society filled with negativity, the philanthropic activities we've engaged in have opened new perspectives for me. I've seen firsthand the urban-rural divide and the unfair distribution of resources, realizing the importance of taking action ourselves over trying to influence the government.

In the last four years, the foundation has been proud to support the growth of local industries and talents, contributing to the development of the tourism industry in Hualien and Taitung. We've seen our partners grow and are now shifting from active guidance to a more advisory role to let the market drive further growth. We're also making strides in connecting with international markets to diversify tourism in Taiwan.

However, the persistent urban-rural education gap is a critical issue. Gifted children in rural areas often miss out on opportunities to realize their potential due to the current exam-centric education system. In response, since 2013, we've shifted our focus towards education, launching various camps and programs to inspire and support students, especially in rural areas.

We've taken over the Junyi School for Innovation, emphasizing bilingual and inspirational teaching, and ensuring that talented but disadvantaged rural students have the opportunity to attend. We're also collaborating with vocational schools in Taitung to provide practical, employment-focused education.

As we delve deeper, we see the vast potential for change and the importance of our work in providing rural students with opportunities. While we can't change the entire educational landscape, we're committed to making a significant impact where we can. I am deeply grateful to everyone who supports our mission, as your support is crucial to our continued success.
