Dear Believers of the Future,

Just like Pandora's box, once opened, there's no turning back!

Over the years, Taiwan's educational landscape has faced challenges, including the erosion of technical and vocational education, the overexpansion of universities, and the devaluation of degrees. These issues have become a societal concern, particularly unfair for rural children who are burdened with loans to attend universities but often lack practical skills. In response, the Alliance Cultural Foundation shifted its focus from industry counseling to foundational education, thanks to your support. Here's some exciting news: We've already sent the third student to the "Hawaii Polynesian Cultural Center / Brigham Young University Asian Executive Management Program," and we're actively recruiting a fourth. Kwali, our first participant, has returned to the Yilan Bulaubulau Tribe, founded the Yuan-Gen Vocational School, and created industry-academia cooperation for tribal youth. This demonstrates our commitment to improving education and opportunities for Taiwan's youth. Thank you for your continued support!

In the realm of fundamental education, Junyi initiated its experimental high school program in 2015. The inaugural 10th-grade class engaged in a life exploration curriculum, involving hands-on activities like canoe crafting and real sea voyages, equating to a solid 100 hours of experiential learning that developed practical skills and teamwork. We are also planning to extend the Waldorf education principles to the 9-12 grade levels with a focus on globalization. In the transition of Waldorf to international education, we've conducted assessments and set a clear direction. Whether students aspire to attend college or not, we aim to comprehensively prepare them during high school, enhancing their English, concentration, teamwork, and core competencies while nurturing their talents and strengths.

As Junyi continues to move forward, we are acutely aware that our mission extends beyond the improvement of a single school. That's why our partner, the Cheng Zhi Education Foundation, established the "Junyi Education Platform" over three years ago. Two years ago, we jointly organized "Flipped Classroom Workshops" across Taiwan, and now we are taking another step to promote coding programming languages, aiming to align Taiwan's education with global standards. Furthermore, Junyi Experimental High School has initiated the "Junyi Teacher Training Center”, covering Waldorf education, the 7 Habits, emotional management, collaborative group organization, and campus photography.

During a period of political instability, Taiwan's strengths have been gradually diminishing. Instead, we must forge ahead, passing on our experiences and knowledge as we run forward. We are grateful for the unwavering support of each passionate supporter, and we hope to continue moving forward because Taiwan can no longer wait.
